The 4R’s: Refuse, Reduce, Re-Use, Recycle

Our world is one incredible place! It’s filled with plants, animals and resources that allow us to enjoy our lives. That’s why it’s so important we look after our planet – because without them, life would be would very different!

With sustainability as its core concept, this Miniclip introduces students to the 4 R’s – refuse, reduce, re-use and recycle. The video defines what a resource is and explores the ways we can help protect the earth’s resources by adopting the 4 R’s. Students learn to define the term resource and gain a practical understanding of how to reduce their waste and pollution, re-use what they already have, and use less of Earth’s precious resources.

We felt it was important to produce this Miniclip in a way that would not only be informative, but would also work to equip students with meaningful and practical ways to help look after our beautiful planet.
